ToolNest does not collect, store or transmit the data you enter into its tools. This policy explains exactly what happens.

The short version
The data you type into any tool on this site stays on your device. It is processed by JavaScript running in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
What we collect
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information. There is no user database.
The site is served as static files by a content delivery network. Like any web host, that provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and diagnostics. These logs are not linked to any tool input, because tool input never reaches the server.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies and does not use local storage to identify you.
If advertising is enabled, the advertising network may set its own cookies and use its own identifiers. That is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. You can block third-party cookies in your browser to prevent this.
Analytics
If aggregate analytics are enabled, they are configured to count page views without storing personal identifiers or building a cross-site profile. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting, or fingerprinting.
Data you enter into tools
All tool processing happens client-side in your browser. We cannot see it, retrieve it, restore it, or be compelled to disclose it, because it never reaches our infrastructure.
If you refresh the page or close the tab, your input is gone unless you chose to download it.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to external sites (for example, the services mentioned in our footer). Once you click such a link, you are on that site and their privacy policy applies. We have no control over their practices.
Children
The site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since we collect essentially nothing, there is no mailing list to notify.
